Happy 2010 from all at Facade Hoists.
After many many years of service and leading Facade Hoists, we said farewell to Dave Hill and wish him the best for the future. Dave started work with Facade Hoists in the "good old days" back in 1978, originating from Gascoigne Gush and Dent in Keynsham, Bristol. Dave was Technical Director at Facade Hoists, implementing new developments over the years. Dave has been a major part and contributor to SAEMA, BSI and more recently helping to develop the NVQ for cradle engineers.

During this recession period we have noticed a slight decline in our workload forecast, although we have been fortunate in that we have not had to reduce our head count.
On a positive note, this has given us time to develop our products further and, after two very busy years, we are pleased to have implemented some technical developments. This month our first two H series BMU's have been tested and we are waiting to deliver these to site before the New Year.
The H series BMU's are compact machines with a multi-lay hoist drum and we hope that this will prove to be a good product for replacement projects, new builds and exports. The BMU itself can have three different base configurations and the current models are trackless (see photo in BMU section).
Our design team are busy setting up their revised CAD system, and we look forward to seeing more new products during the coming year.
This month we have firmed up two new projects, one in Scotland and the other in London. Both are due for delivery mid to late 2010.
Early 2010 will see the delivery of two systems to the Republic of Ireland and we will be working on two large projects in the centre of London.
